Ceiling Filled with Dandelions

Artist Regine Ramseier as part of her ArToll Summer Lab 2011 exhibit transported just over 2,000 dandelions into a local building and then suspended them one-by-one. The entire process is quite intriguing! The flowers themselves were collected by Regine then treated with a gentle adhesive before they were placed in the back of her car and transported to their new location, where they were all meticulously hung by hand . . . source

Jason Wu’s Spring 2013 collection is perfect embodiment of strong femininity. This time around Jason focused on a muted palette of black and white but, you saw a few pops of color; especially with the pretty corals and deep blues. The body hugging silhouette, printed jumpsuits and gorgeous floor-length tulle gowns were some of my favorites. A wonderful balance of androgyny and rich femininity . . . (more…)
Architectural Beauty: The Meera House, Singapore

Guz Architects built this home on the the beautiful island of Sentosa, located off the coast of Singapore. The homes on this small island are built quite closely together, so the architects focused on creating a private space that incorporated nature and the island’s unique beauty. Two wonderfully adorned walls sit opposite to each other on the plot, while the local sea breeze and abundance of natural lighting fill every room of the home . . . (more…)

When it comes to extravagant glamour and opulent fashion, Marchesa seems to always do it just right. For Spring 2013 — Georgina and Keren took to India for inspiration, mixing embroidered and jeweled hims with lace and dramatic brocade, they created something that was absolutely luxurious and, very much Bollywood inspired . . .
