Karl’s latest collection looks like it was being shown deep inside a labyrinth of amethyst mines. The runway was layered in white glittery sand that almost seemed snow-like beneath the models feet, and each outfit I looked at was glamorous, futuristic and that brand of chic that is truly unique only to Chanel. I also loved Karl’s take on the current intricate layering trend, a delightful twist on the norm as he mixed feathers, tweed and papier-mâché like fabrics to create a collection that was beyond just memorable, but mesmerizing as well. source

Just came across this lovely write-up about Mario Testino’s L.A. home over at Vogue.com and I fell completely in love with how he decorated it. Even if you didn’t know who lived here, you could just tell by all the beautiful and intricate art pieces that this person had been all around the world. The hanging bits of illustrations you can see through-out this home are my personal favorites. source

I just fell in love with this gorgeous property that’s currently for sale on Elliman. The kitchen & living room remind me of a more glamorous version of those Star Trek room quarters we always see on TV! The pretty but dramatic pink accents are also quite beautiful against those stark white walls . . . via

Georgina Chapman always succeeds in creating some of the most coveted dresses for award ceremonies. This time around she created a beautiful collection with some obvious William-Adolphe Bouguereau influences and mixed it with gorgeous embellishments such as feathery tulle and ornate embroidery lace. The collection was incredibly picturesque from the beginning to end and I have no doubt in my mind that it will be a favorite at all the upcoming red carpet events . . . via
