Overlooking the Plaça de Sant Domènec in Girona, Spain sits this recently renovated apartment by Architect Anna Noguera. This properly has a deep past history, with it’s roots based as far back as the late 16th century! Anna wanted to streamline it to fit in with today’s more modern world and she did just that and created a thoroughly gorgeous home. With it’s medieval embellishments and clean modern decor, this home is definitely something to marvel at.

“I always start with color first,” said Tomas Maier incorporating Silk, jersey, rubber and intricate beading to create a quite unique Bottega Veneta collection. It was slightly futuristic but still had that lovely touch you’d expect from Bottega Veneta. I’ve been a huge fan of Cecy Young’s photography for a few years now so when I came across this new editorial featured at Ben Trovato’s blog, you can imagine how excited I was. The model’s brightly dyed lavender hair is stunning by itself but what makes this editorial a treasure to me is how beautifully the wooded backdrop compliments it all.

“For me photography is a way of inventing stories, I find it very interesting when imagination & reality come together to create something new. I get inspired by classic cinematography, women, color, and my childhood memories,” says Young.

The Soneva Kiri resort located on the remote island of Koh Kood features these incredible Eco-pods that hang in the nearby surrounding trees, where you can relax, dine and even sleep if you’d prefer. What I think is really interesting and unique is that the waiters will often glide in on the nearby rope line bringing you a platter of exotic cocktails and popular thai-inspired dishes.

Natalia Grzybowski‘s latest conceptual Spring/Summer 2012 collection is being described as “part-human, part-botanic” I can definitely see why. Working with two distinctive parts: Hybrid: White and Hybrid: Printed “each piece is an art form within itself, complementing, without overtly sexualising the female form, using shapes that are simultaneously structured, yet soft while mimicking the form of a flower” . . .

Each year our local university has their cherry blossom tree viewing that is put together with help by our Japanese exchange students.
