I thought I’d finish off this week with this dazzling photo by Adam Whitehead. The thin and intricately cut silver skirt is completely out of this world, don’t you agree?

I spent most of this weekend reorganizing most of my office area and taking care of my slowly maturing vegetable plants in my garden (a few more weeks til harvest!). I hope all of you have had a fun & hopefully sunny weekend. Here are a few of my favorite posts for last week:

* love report: early spring finds
* alexis anne mackenzie’s collages
* ethereal vogue germany
* a gorgeous apartment
* the storytelling bag
* paolo roversi 1986
* up close: heather marks

And a few of my past posts you may of missed, xx.
* attention to detail: marchesa fall 2012 evening bags
* sakura love: photography by kerry dean
* vintage inspired bridal by ruche)

These gorgeous evening bags by Marchesa for the upcoming Fall 2012 season have some seriously exquisite handwork put into each of them. With dramatic silver jewels and top notch embroidery work, each piece is glamorous and quite lovely . . . source

Each year our local university has their cherry blossom tree viewing that is put together with help by our Japanese exchange students. It’s one of the many things I look forward to each year during Spring and these beautiful photos by Kerry Dean are a lovely treat and the perfect reminder of the many years I’ve spent enjoying these magnificent trees . . . source

Eleven Objects Fall 2012 collection is beautifully crafted, something you’d expect to see from a veteran brand, so it makes it even more special that this is their first full collection. Going beyond their ever so popular collars, they created these beautiful and intricately sewn dresses for the upcoming fall season. The baroque design is just amazing, with hand-applied gold foil, luxe silk organza and stand-out metallic fabrics . . . source
