This lovely 2-story home was painted a beautiful vibrant blue, which made it immediately stand out in my searching today. The inside is also ultra spacious – each story being 7 meters tall, It gives the illusion of a vertical loft. Recycled materials were used in this home as well, including the copper cladding on the floating lounge, it once belonged to a church. {source}

Located in Gothenburg, Sweden this penthouse has one of the best interiors I’ve ever seen. I love a mostly white palette for the decor and the splashes of pinks and blues is absolutely perfect. I love how much natural lighting the windows let in. {source}

A beautiful modern home with a strong futuristic twist. This home has a lovely exterior design. The 8,600 sf home has beautiful round and square shapes through-out and with it’s elegant furniture and fantastic pool, who wouldn’t want a spend a whole summer (or fall) here? So perfect. {source}

… Isn’t this home magical? I really cant get enough of it! Renovated from an old hunting cabin it was turned into a true Victorian dream. Total cost of the renovation? – only $3,000. The owner Ms. Foster went to various flea markets and salvage shops to help decorate the home. Her personal story was also really nice as well. You can see a few more photos and read more, here.

… Probably one of the most elaborate (and unique) treehouses I’ve ever seen. Created by architect Robert Harvey Oshatz over a span of 7 years, he modeled the home with the future occupant’s interest in mind. My favorite parts of this home is the beautiful kitchen and the rounded archways you can see through-out it.

The interior of this lovely office by architectures Baumraum makes me want to bring out the paints and redo my living room the same (although, I doubt mine would come out as nice). The inside window design is also really beautiful, too. {source}

… I’ve been incredibly infatuated with homes from Japan lately; the few I’ve discovered have really blown me away with their unique and functional designs. This home I think has one of the most gorgeous interiors I’ve seen so far and I love the way the windows look so crystal clear from the inside.

… The Japanese Architects ARTechnic have recently built this ultra sleek and quite modern villa in Karuizawa, Japan. I think the design is really beautiful, the curves and shapes have such a unique and organic feel and I like that they designed the home around a single tree. {source}

Homes that use extravagant lighting are one of my favorites! But this one definitely takes the cake on centering the design of a home around it’s lighting. Even the other homes next to it don’t compare at all to it’s beauty. The interiors are also very clean, bright and welcoming and I truly hope the neighbors don’t mind the lights at night (I know I wouldn’t).

Lo Bjurulf set designs are some of my favorite. You’ve probably seen her work in catalogs such as Ikea and HM Home. She really has incredible attention to detail and each her sets are always polished to perfection (isn’t the first photo lovely?). You can see more of her portfolio here.

This amazingly detailed home by architecture firm A-cero is breathtaking. The unique exterior shape really caught my eye and I couldn’t get over how perfectly they decorated the inside. The textured dark concrete is a unique touch and it gives the home a rather dark futuristic feel. And with 18,000 square feet, I doubt you’ll run out of places to put things. {source}

I’ve seen tons of different boat homes over the past few years, some were small, some were very large but I’ve never seen one that looked like an actual house on the outside! Designed by Vandeventer + Carlander Architects, they were challenged to design a home that would fit strict regulations for house boats and were able to come up with an incredibly unique appealing home (inside and out). {source}
