Weekends Links: Jessica Stam for Vogue Japan

December 29, 2012

Hope you’re all doing well and had a beautiful Holiday experience (if you celebrate, of course!). I’ve been busy with getting ready for the New Year and spending time with my family. In my limited spare time I’ve been focusing on redesigning a new layout for Lace & Tea which should be completed rather soon. After that is done, things should be smooth sailing here for a while! x

Today after spending a couple hours browsing for some inspiration I came across this stunning editorial featuring Jessica Stam and it reminded me of how much I adore Vogue Japan in it’s entirety. The exquisite styling and it’s dark contrasting work together just perfectly in my opinion.

And, since I haven’t done it in a while, here are my favorite links for the past month or so. Hope you all have a wonderful start to your week as well . . .

Street Style: Magnifique Paris

December 18, 2012

I’ve been all over Carolines’ street style blog all day and I just love these two particular photos from Paris recently. The two women are not only gorgeous but their outfits are just perfect styled head-to-tie. The red Valentino dress in the first photo is my favorite! It’s ornate lace is beautifully done, do you agree? All images from Stockholm StreetStyle

Houghton Bride Fall / Winter 2013 Lookbook

December 12, 2012

Houghton Bride Fall / Winter lookbook is gorgeously modern with versatile silhouettes. The collection was lace dominated, with almost every piece having some incorporated into it (which I loved, of course). The loose pantsuits were an unexpected surprise, and I found I coveted them just as much as the gowns they were contrasted with. All images from Houghton’s website . . .

Home Inspiration: Gallery Walls

December 6, 2012

I’ve been completely infatuated with Art Walls (or “Gallery Walls”) as of lately, after doing some much needed ‘spring cleaning’ (in December, no less) where I donated many pieces of furniture, clothes and decor, I found myself with lots of framed pictures and art that I just couldn’t let go of. I spent the evening rearranging them all in different patterns and in different areas and these photos sure helped fuel my inspiration during it all . . . Continue Reading…
