Beauty Inspiration: Berry Lips for Fall 2012
Dramatic and deep, these lovely berry toned lips always look glamorous when paired with Fall favorites such as prim laces and bright golds. Make-up artist Francelle Daly, adds “Young celebrities like Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba are wearing it,” she adds. “A deep lip provides a punch with miminal other makeup.” a look that make-up arist Lucia Pieroni describes as “sexy, sultry, decadent and a little bit dangerous.” . . .
↑ At Gucci Fall 2012 makeup artist Pat McGrath gave the models a dramatic bordeaux lip color that she called “ethereal, but dark and strong.” Suggestions: I’d try MAC lipstick in Diva and MAC lipstick in Media blended together.
↑ Bottega Veneta Fall 2012 makeup artist Pat McGrath used a rich mulberry lip that was beautiful and truly attention-grabbing. Suggestions: I’d line with MAC Nightmoth Lip Pencil and then use MAC lipstick in Smoked Purple layered on top.
↑ At Rochas Fall 2012 makeup artist Lucia Pieroni went with a really strong blackberry lip “we’re making it very matted-out; it’s quite ‘stamped on’ in a modern kind of way.” Suggestions: Pieroni used a new Clé de Peau lipstick coming out in the fall, called R10.

I love this trend, too. Already found my perfect berry lipstick, although I have been wearing it for a while, before the colour became “the trend”. :)

I like this rich, gorgeous shade for fall. Will certainly wear it and seeing it paired with those beautiful kitted and green sweaters at Rochas make me covet it even more. :)
