June 23, 2012

Misha Lee, a young chinese designer created this marvelous graduation project that focused on chinese shadow play, an almost forgotten art of storytelling. Attention to Detail: Elie Tahari Spring 2012

June 21, 2012

Elie Tahari’s Spring 2012 collection was one of my favorites. Inspired by the rich past of ancient Egyptian fashion, Elie Tahari wanted to create a collection that was glamorous and chic while still staying rather casual. The details were beyond lovely really, with my favorite part being those amazing gladiator-esque heels . . . via

Home Inspiration: An Industrial Pink Loft

June 18, 2012

This Barcelona loft’s opened floor-plan and lovely use of natural lighting has me in awe. The owner recently renovated it completely, wanting to turn this old rustic industrial home into something a bit more refined and feminine. What I love is how beautiful each of the individual rooms are. source

Carol Hannah Spring 2013

June 11, 2012

Today I bring you this beautiful new bridal collection by Carol Hannah for Spring 2013. Each gown is gorgeously refined with each having their own personality and beauty. My favorite is definitely the Chambord Tulle Ballgown (last shot), it’s peach color and ethereal layering completely stole my heart.

Weekend Links: Flights of Fancy

June 10, 2012

I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! I spent most of it indoors as it turned into a monsoon rather quickly here on Friday and has been raining ever since! No worries though, I caught up on some much needed baking and prepped a few meals for next week. Sometimes a hard rain can be a wonderful thing to help clear the mind . . .

Here are a few of my most enjoyed links for the past week (hope you find them equally as interesting!):
* the sea, the sea
* diy garden projects
* love report: dragonslayer
* photography by prue ruscoe
* garden party
* inspiration for a studio
* a few lovely fashion sketches
* style inspiration: summer gold.

And, a few quick links to my latest posts here:
* erdem resort 2013
* home tour: sally campbell
* an ivy covered art studio

Have a wonderful start to your week tomorrow everyone, x.
