This lovely 2-story home was painted a beautiful vibrant blue, which made it immediately stand out in my searching today. The inside is also ultra spacious – each story being 7 meters tall, It gives the illusion of a vertical loft. Recycled materials were used in this home as well, including the copper cladding on the floating lounge, it once belonged to a church. {source}

    I love this. Those stairs are incredible. I mentioned a couple of your posts (1 photo shoot, 2 homes) in my last post http://pinkspilledpaint.wordpress.com/2010/09/05/it-overtakes-me-05-sep-10/ . Maybe I should put this one in the next :)

    How fantastic — the ceilings alone are just amazing!

    Hi,

    I find it a bit cold for my taste.
    For me, it wouldn’t feel like home.
    I like simple, but with details to make it personal.

    Kind regards,

    José

    Oh my gosh! Look at all that wood!
    I think that makes it plenty warm.
    And so much light from all of those beautiful windows.

    I love it! I love the blue, and the floating area above the kitchen almost looks like the bottom of a boat!
