The neutral shades and the always wonderful Valentino red is lovely. I am definitely not disappointed with this collection like last season. The ruffles, scalloped hems, lace & kitten heels; I just liked so many pieces. This new direction Valentino is going may be something I could learn to love. {source}

    I love the final red dress. If I somehow got to go to the Oscars… I’d want to wear something like that.

    Probably their best collection to date. The ruffled jackets are becoming very signature of them. I hope they keep improving.
    The best thing about the collection is that it’s very Valentino, BUT has a sense of direction at the same time so they’re just ripping off the archives. Thats really important and significant. Cool Blog!!

    i agree. there are a lot of things to look at and enjoy like the fabric combinations (second look) and the details when it comes to the cut. i also think that the looks make a good impression as a whole concept: powdery shades and warm red tones…

    I’m never one for neutral, beige-y tones, but the palette here is so gorgeous. I love the ruffles, and the way the last red dress floats about the models’ body and legs is so beautiful.

    I always love your blog, its like an oasis of calm and beauty in the middle of everything else. x
